DecibelPro Pro

From a reading to a report

The free meter tells you how loud it is right now. Pro records the whole session, charts it against time, and hands you a PDF you can give to a landlord, an employer or a council.

This is what you hand over

A finished session becomes a print-ready PDF carrying the numbers a landlord, an employer or a council will ask you for — no watermark, nothing held back. The sample here is an eight-hour shift log, which comes to 17 pages.

  • Where, when and how long — plus your own notes on what was making the noise
  • Leq, Lmax, Lmin and L10/L50/L90: the statistics a complaint is actually argued with
  • The whole session charted against time, with the 85 and 90 dBA limits marked
  • OSHA dose and projected 8-hour TWA, then a per-minute appendix of every reading

What Pro adds

Timed measurement sessions

Run a 1-minute spot check or an 8-hour shift log. Every session is timestamped, auto-stops at the planned duration, and is saved on your device.

dB over time charting

A full session chart with Leq, L10/L50/L90 statistics, OSHA threshold lines, and markers for the events that matter.

PDF reports

One-click, print-ready reports with the chart, exposure analysis and a per-minute appendix.

Session history

Revisit, re-chart and re-export any of your last 25 sessions without re-recording them.

OSHA dose calculation

Proper 5 dB exchange-rate dose accumulation and a projected 8-hour TWA, rather than a plain average.

Free stays free

Nothing that works today gets taken away.

  • Live meter with A-weighted readings
  • Real-time waveform and frequency spectrum
  • CSV export of the last 30 seconds

Your audio stays on your device

Microphone audio never leaves your device on any plan. On a subscription, charting and PDF generation run in your browser too, so no session data is uploaded either. The one-time report is the exception: those measurements are sent to our server to render the file, because that is the only way to count the single report you paid for. Payment is handled by Stripe directly either way.

Questions

Is this accurate enough for an official complaint?

It is accurate enough to document a pattern — when noise happens, how long it lasts and roughly how loud it is. It is not a calibrated Type 1 or Type 2 meter, and every report says so on every page. For a regulatory filing or a legal dispute you will still need a calibrated instrument, but a Pro report is a strong piece of supporting evidence and it costs a great deal less.

Do I have to subscribe?

No. A single report is a one-time payment — record your session, download the PDF, done. There is nothing to cancel. If you expect to document noise more than once or twice, the monthly plan works out cheaper and keeps your session data on your device.

Can I use it on my phone and my laptop?

Yes. After checkout you get a licence key. Paste it on any other device from the account page to activate Pro there too.

How do I cancel?

A single report is a one-time payment, so there is nothing to cancel. Subscriptions are cancelled from the account page, which opens the Stripe billing portal; you keep Pro until the end of the period you have already paid for.
